How cool is it to turn 200 yards of string into a wearable design.

It started with a ball of string from my Swedish grandmother (Hilder), and at that moment a new hobby evolved.  She taught me that helping and giving to those in need don't always have to involve money, and generosity can come in many ways to people in disaster areas, war zones, and shelters. 

One of the great things about being a knitter is the opportunity to combine my love for yarn crafting with the satisfaction of knitting for charity.
